Haven't seen it but the trailer gives a good idea about what it involves and hence will wait for the ott release...think its worth a watch for the performances..should be able to complete it in 2-3 sittings :D @Raj:as much as we all love to hate such characters or stories, given the physical, social and financial disparities in our society, hate and violence is a reality that will remain forever...and so will a market for such movies. @meetu: Please watch "12th fail"...can't believe you've watched "Ganpath" and missed out on this one.. :D Would love to know your thoughts on it..
Bang on with the review...felt very raw and realistic...witty dialogue...got a bit restless towards the end..admire Bidita for taking up that difficult role..loved the independence and sensuality she portrayed ever so well...as for Nawaz, he excels in such roles, so not much to say there..Overall a definite watch
:D u decide to watch "tubelight" and "behen" and this guest jeet gets to review "death in Kunj"!...why meetu..why ??...I've been following your reviews for couple of yrs now and it seems now, the choice of films are no longer yours to make..I visited the site after a while to read your thoughts on "hindi medium" n "kunj" but had to be content with some Salman bashing..i liked that though :)
Apart from the moments involving shahid n Kangana, i was bored...The lavish sets or cinematography kind of make it difficult for me to relate or emotionally connect with its characters..Just like you point out in many of your reviews, i just couldn't see past the stars that they are...it was shahid, saif and kangana for as long as i watched
skipped it since quite a lot of viewer reviews on BMS mentioned it makes for a tedious watch..now with ur review, think i'll give it a chance.
Did you watch "Hidden figures" ??? ...or Split ? or "Hero" ....If u got time only for one, i'd say "Hidden figures"...a predictable feel good movie but Taraji is in her elements and that makes it worth your time, but the standout performer of the week would be James Mcvoy in Split...just brilliant ! ..not gripping enough in terms of plot or script though. 5 movies in the space of 3 days..people think i am going mad :D
Hi Meetu...here again, think you missed out on a good one in "Arrival". a splendid movie and i was hoping for a review from your end...Its still around i guess...See if u can catch a show before it moves out
Went in looking for a bit of spookiness , got a creepy thriller instead...no complains..well directed..kept me engaged for the entirety of the movie...have always enjoyed movies of this kind..the shining, Orphan, Gone girl to name the other ones..u've watched Orphan?
Finally ! ...we get your verdict on Hollywood films as well...A southie movie buff who goes by your word for Hindi movies...pls rate at least one every week
well, i was looking forward to reading what you thought about this one...love a female perspective on everything out there and its meetu 4 movies...guess it ain't happening for this one, is it ? :(

Meeetttuuu..."Life" or "Anarkali of Arah' ....definitely "catch it on dvd for sure" or "The keen must watch on screen; else DVD"
I seriously thought you would choose Swara over anushka...u know what ? ....we need a "review on demand" option :D
i was hoping nothing "filmy" happens...thankfully there was none..a very engaging movie...Rajjkumar is a brilliant actor.
