Youths will defeat buddhas at the boxoffice, so ADHM all the way. If Amitabh's Te3n clashes with Salman's Ready, all kinds of viewers will watch Ready forgetting it has no story, but will campaign for Shivaay for showing us what?

  • Shivaay:

Bajirao Mastani had an upper hand in three countries: India, US-Canada, and Australia.
Muslims from UK, Malaysia, Netherlands and other areas helped Dilwale achieve success I guess. Nobody remembers how Dilwale crushed Bairao Mastani in Malaysia in multiple of 20. Even in BM's best zone Mumbai circuit it was in multiple of 1.75. Still lolling. Yes it looked more expensive and it was reasonable for it to win worldwide.

  • Ae Dil Hai Mushkil:

Some think having a good trailer is the same as having a good film, the people who praised Shivaay's trailer are the same multiplex viewers and overseas audience. Devgn has lost out due to his unethical gimmicks but he forgot KJo is no Chopra be it Yash or Aditya, yeah KJo got dirty in a smart way by roping SRK into his film just like Dev did with Salman for Son of Sardaar. This time Salman kept quiet despite Ranbir romancing his ex girlfriend.
Those people supporting Shivaay on IMDb are bhakts and MNS supporters. The longest finger will be thrown into their mouths this Diwali. Enough of nonsense by the Thackerays and their ilk.

  • Ae Dil Hai Mushkil:

The centres that supported Bajirao Mastani are supporting Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Monday will show the aukaat of Anti Pak viewers, lol bhakts and multiplex viewers are not on the same page as Dilwale vs Bajirao Mastani. When audience watched BM they were wise, they have become unwise for watching ADHM. love no matter how mushy is still better than destruction, oops destruction of Shiva with a y(a character that makes fun of Linga and Shiva by indulging in unwarranted kissing and fornication). Only anti hindus and anti Pak muslims will support Shiva with a y.
This Diwali is for Ae Dil Ki Diwali though an above average affair. A clean romantic film is better than a horny action film for family audiences.

Buzz off you [comment partially deleted because it's a personal attack] Salman in Mohenjodaro will do 250cr with clash. Rustom was also a bad film. See its overseas performance where it was a no show. You do not have trademarks to insults [comment partially deleted because it's a personal attack]. Be deluding yourself as a HR, you dont like HR more than me. So are Bodyguard and Ready better films than Mohenjo Daro?

Did someone just shield HR from Mohenjodaro's dismal box office run? Directors except Raj Hirani do not guarantee success with their films. See Ali Abbas Zafar of Gunday fame in Sultan.

  • M. S. Dhoni - The Untold Story:

@Anuj, you were the one telling us who is the most popular among these actors (pseudosuperstars) and went as far as telling us how popularity matters more than money making. Akshay and Salman can do charity and set up infrastructure with money and not popularity. If we the audience empowered other actors, we will see major surprises in highest earning movies. We are stuck in this popularity battle between Salman and Aamir, sometimes SRK comes in and we forget that others deserve to make it. The rise of Salman coincided with the fall of Hrithik when Kites was rejected and Dabangg was accepted. As for me, I have watched movies from India starring
    Akshay Kumar
    Akshaye Khanna
    John Abraham
    Vir Das

Since I know these actors, they are equally popular to me, those who chose to know certain actors and want to watch them repeatedly sometimes by buying multiple tickets do not want to expand their horizon. I wont complain,In fact Aamir and Salman must rule Bollywood till they are 75 years, lol.

  • Rustom:

People enter into occupations to make money and so the amount of money a star makes is relevant as well as that of a film to its producers, distributors etc. I still maintain that the Khans are benefitting from a failed Bollywood system of harnessing young talents. If Bollywood does not address its shortcomings it will be undermined by a few Hollywood films. I wont discuss whether a Hollywood film will match Bollywood collections, the question is what next after the Khans or do we expect to see Varun Dhawan's son saying I want to watch an Aamir Khan film FDFS in 9yrs time. Moreover TJB had nothing new to offer and it outgrossed many Hindi films this year. The South is also threatening the Hindi market, apart from Aamir Khan starrers doing well in The US, China, South Korea and Hongkong, and Dilwale's extraordinary run in Malaysia (perhaps using DDLJ's legacy) I have not seen Bollywood expand its territory within or outside India. I guess its time to rethink how to get more money into the system, there are good looking and talented young guys and ladies who can give the Khans, Kumar, Devgn and Roshan a run for their fame and money and if Bollywood fails to get it right. Tamil, Telugu, and English language films will get the better of the Hindi film industry.

Hollywood is a big Industry and it makes profits all over the world. At least it does not produce useless arguments about who is a star or not. The first day collection of their debutantes in big releases grosses more than Mohenjodaro and Fan worldwide figures in 8 hours.

  • Rustom:

The Jungle Book did not get up to the number of screens that PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan had faced competition from Ki and Ka as well as Fan, no holiday hype, no star actor, animation. and a 12 yr old. What did the Khans, Roshan, Kumar, and Devgn collect when they were 12yrs old? zero rupees.
TJB is the biggest blockbuster in India in this decade. As per business Aashiqui 2 and Chaar Sahibzade are bigger blockbusters than D3, CE, K3, PK, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This makes Aditya Roy Kapoor and Harman Baweja as the big gainers of Bollywood in this decade.

The world does not revolve around any human. That star you are mocking is the richest Hindi film star of all time, has a successful marriage, is doing well socially, negatives smoking and drinking. Same with the actors of Rustom and Mohenjo Daro. You coming here to mock any of them will not get 0.1% of their wealth, fame, or relevance.
