hi shweta, interesting angle and a very good write-up. true that helen and yesteryear actresses also did item numbers, but they were (in most films) 'vamps' and not just 1 dance girls. also, there are item girls AND... there are item girls - a sherlyn chopra vs a bipasha or aishwarya (must state am not a fan :-)??
