  • Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety:

Clearly this review is done by a female. Yes the story is very predictable and yes the characters are one dimensional but the movie is still a lot of fun. We were two couples who had gone for this movie and we laughed like anything, and along with us the whole theatre did the same. Thats how bad the movie is.

Really well reviewed Meetu. A must watch. Although the story has a very basic technical flaw but let it be. I was speechless when the movie finished and it wasn't cause of the ending, but cause of the characters.

If you are fans of films like Argo, Mission Impossible etc then you will like this. I for one agree with the reviewer. There is nothing new and that was a let down for me. I had gone to see *something unpexted* but the story line was pretty linear(Comparing this with D-Day) and that was a let down. But this one is meant to seen in the theaters and not on the idiot box.

  • Phata Poster Nikhla Hero:

One of the crappiest movie to come out this year. Except for a couple of one liners there is nothing good about the movie. By the time the first half ended I was looking forward to get out of the cineplex. Should avoid on all costs.

  • The Lunchbox:

Had gone to see this today. Paid the full weekend price for this and I am not disappointed. Its a simple two line story but definitely worth a watch.

  • Madras Cafe:

I have always loved learning about history through films. Part fact part fiction but the sheer rawness of the movie makes it a worth watch. The characters feel real and so does John's character till he loses his wife. After that I mostly enjoyed learning about the unfolding of the assassination. Its hard to believe that either John or our ex prime minister was a hero but the event happened and we couldn't do anything about it.

Happy that such a movie is made for me this is as good as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag if not better.

  • D-Day:

I watched this on my laptop over a train ride from Ajmer to New Delhi in chair car seat with my headphones on. The movie had it ups and downs and after the movie ended I didn't know what to do. Weather to find flaws in the movie or wish that dream to come true.

I am writing this review after 4 days of watching this movie. Had this been on TV I would have skipped it. The movie starts with a bang and a peppy number but drags in the middle then it picks up after post interval but drags at the end. But I am glad I watched it. It might not be a perfect movie either story wise or direction wise but its a good attempt.

I will surely not watch the movie again but I am sure I won't forget it anytime soon. And BTW Rishi Kapoor plays a pretty awesome Goldman :).

  • Fukrey:

I have been skipping my 12 free showcase movies offered free with a Megapack subscription from last 2 years. This year my better half made me sit and utilise that over this one and boy I wasn't disappointed.

As meetu said in her review the movie starts slowly in the first half but as soon as the Bholi Punjabi (Richa Chaddha) character is introduced the movie just picks up and turns into a laughing riot. The movie is best enjoyed in the comfort of your room with friends/spouse sitting beside you. Definitely a worth watch.

  • Now You See Me:

The way the movie starts you cant help but imagine the ending and the execution to be like Oceans Eleven. And with the cast it had, something better could have been achieved instead halfway through the movie you feel the lack of depth in the story and the ending is really nothing to write about.

Lets just say the three major acts of the movie if done in reverse order would have been a more satisfying ending as I feel that the best act of the movie gets over well before the first half. After that the movie just tries to live up to that but fails badly.

  • World War Z:

Finally Bard Pitt gets his own franchise. Why franchise ? cause there will be another one for sure. The movie is vastly different from the book and shows the world from an individual's point of view rather then how the world dealt with the situation.

  • Satyagraha:

(((Spoiler Alert)))Generally Prakash Jha's films boils ones blood but this one is pretty flat. The film is loosely based on the recent past and tries to explain why Arvind Kejrival formed an "Aam Aadmi Party".

But IMHO the attempt is pretty lame. No character ever shines in the movie. Only Manoj Bajpai does "some" justice to his role.
