It is a long weekend in Singapore (4 days) and I didn't anything else to do so as Meetu suggested I went to watch the movie and in a nutshell I would say that I enjoyed it and would say it was worth the money spent... The hall was full and at few places there were some people whistling (I experienced that probably the first time since I left India :)
I generally watch movies to forget any worries in real life
The Good: Deepika, Clean script (family friendly - my kids laughed thru-out) The Bad - Overacting SRK - but that's usual The Ugly - Songs ! The only time I got bored when the songs were playing..
I love Ayushman because he is just like or any of my friends - and without any prejudice I can he was superb. I had some serious doubts about Kumal's acting but let me add here that he was awesome and I hate to say that he was probably better than AK.
Most of times your reviews @Meetu are pretty much in line with how I feel about the movie but for a change I don't agree to your rating for this movie.
In my PERSONAL opinion it wasn't a bad movie especially considering last fewDavid Dhawan movies. I had gone to watch the movie without thinking that it had anything to do with the original and I think that's made a difference in thinking.
I was sitting, getting bored at home and a friend suggested to join him for the movie and in that state of mind I would say it was a 3/5 movie i.e a decent time-pass :)
For me the biggest minus was Ali Zafar.
All said and done I would continue to be your avid reader.
I really hope that is a good horror movie. I feel sad looking at the regular so called horror movies which are either just sleazy, ugly, gory or just run of the mill Ramsay brothers (or the likes).. With such wonderful new filmmakers trying different subjects, it's high time we make some good horror movies as well.
I missed the movie this weekend due to some personal work but surely gonna watch it next weekend. I just adore Sushant and will watch it just for him despite the fact that I hate Chetan Bhagat...

I would love to pay to get scared :)
You are not alone. Everybody in my circle thinks the same. Who would waste money to watch Daddy da puttar's movie.. Will be a flop for sure.. !
Decent movie but very superfluous. Dance lovers (and followers of Zee DID) will love it for sure.
