In almost every frame of Radhe you wonder which age and era the film was made for: - The inevitable good vs evil battle that ends you-know-how;
- The humour that makes you cry rather than laugh—‘Jackie Shroff in strappy little red dress level’ cry;
- The regressive attitude towards women;
- The regular ol’ world-saviour of a police officer;
- The no-rhyme-no-reason song-and-dance routines, the pelvic thrust choreography;
- The gratuituous mindless action;
—everything reminds you of all the films you want to forget.

Didn’t even bother with a new signature line for Salman Khan.

But hey, the film is short. That’s keeping the changing times in mind. Even if it stereotypes the audience’s attention spans, I’ll take it.

Radhe is a good 45 minutes shorter than such films usually are. That doesn’t mean it is any crisper. It is no secret that films of this genre, especially with Salman Khan at the helm of affairs, are really easy to trash. It’s fun to do too. Especially because the viewer feels entitled to have a laugh at it because they weren’t given the chance to laugh with it. Yes, a paracetamol or four, might prove handy. Even taking them as prevention could be helpful*. Yes, you can pick between resting your brain away from your screen and over-working it with trying to make sense out of incoherent sequence after disconnected sequence. You get the drift.

To be fair, the ruthless villain is a notch more ruthless and is beating the hero silly—and this is a refreshing change. You see, I am hanging by a thread here. And I daresay trying harder than the makers, who didn’t even bother with a new signature line for Salman Khan. Neither could they be bothered with a half-decent attempt at good prosthetics, or the look and feel either. The film is not supposed to be taken seriously, and not to be reviewed seriously for sure.

*I’m not a healthcare professional. This is not medical advice. It is a joke. Considering this movie is being considered by people who might want to watch this film voluntarily, this disclaimer is necessary.

Thumbs up, Bollywood Life : ...While the script and direction could've done with some fine tuning, Salman Khan's Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai is still massy and masaledaar enough to offer an entertaining deviation from the usual, dark content on OTT platforms, while also being its own film, retaining no more than the essence and some main plot devices of Korean film The Outlaws. If it had seen a traitidional Eid release in theatres like a Salman movie should, we predict it having taken no less than a Rs. 40 crore nett opening. For now, enjoy this Eidi at home. You can watch Salman Khan’s latest actioner on Zee5 and ZeePlex.... full review

So-So, by Taran Adarsh, Bollywood Hungama : ...On the whole, RADHE - YOUR MOST WANTED BHAI is a Salman Khan show all the way. The film has some massy moments, which would have attracted ample footfalls at single screens specifically. However, the clichéd plot and predictable proceedings act as a speed breaker. RADHE is strictly for Salman Khan fans.... full review

So-So, by Ritika Handoo, DNA : ...In 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' there are several moments in the film where you miss watching it on the big screens whether it's Bhaijaan taking off his shirt or kicking the baddies most dramatically. However, sipping some hot tea and grabbing homemade popcorn while you slouch on a couch, watching 'Radhe' is not too bad either!... full review

So-So, by Devesh Sharma, Filmfare : ...All-in-all, watch Radhe if you want to see a genuine superstar in action -- someone who makes you forget the absurdity around him by his sheer presence. The film is manna from heaven for all Salman Khan fans. Don’t try to find logic and a coherent screenplay and story here and you won’t be disappointed...... full review

So-So, by Ananya Bhattacharyal, india today : ...f you're a Salman Khan fan, you probably weren't. So we will end here. If you're not a Salman Khan fan and wouldn't mind two hours of mindless fun, you might give Radhe a try. There's enough tragedy out there already than looking for flaws in a Salman Khan film. Bad luck if you're gonna take him for granted.... full review

So-So, by Ridhi Suri, India TV : ...Technically speaking, "Radhe" is as lavish as Bollywood gets, which is a waste considering the initial impact of the big screen viewers' reaction will mostly be lost out in foreign cinemas.... full review

So-So, by R.M. VIJAYAKAR, India West : ...Technically, the film is upmarket and Salman Khan looks young and dishy, not unsuitable for someone of Disha Patani’s age. I was impressed by Randeep Hooda’s quiet and vicious villainy, but as for Jackie Shroff, this is his second consecutive ridiculous and supposedly comic role after “Hello Charlie.” The rest of the cast do what is needed, though Sang Hae and Megha Akash (as the girl cop) do it well!... full review

So-So, by Ambica Sachin, Khaleej Times : ...So should you watch Radhe? If you are a Salman Khan fan, it’s of course a rhetorical question. And that’s the only reason why you’d go to the theatre to watch Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, right? The superstar has never looked as good, or seemed as indestructible (he survives a helicopter crash and is in short a desi version of Iron Man and Super Man and all the superheroes you can name put together), or grooved as stylishly as he does in the dance numbers, especially Zoom Zoom and Seeti Maar where he manages to make even the most clumsiest step look cool and aspirational. Fans are no doubt going to want to ‘Seeti Maar’ this one.... full review

So-So, by Saibal Chatterjee, NDTV : ...Talking of placement of songs, the much-hyped Seeti Maar number does not add up at all. It is bunged into the 110-minute film at the top of its last quarter. It simply doesn't work. In anything, it pours a whole gallon of water on the possibility of any sort of dramatic anticipation building up as Radhe prepares to launch his final assault on Rana, the ruthless crime lord who goes about bludgeoning and slashing people who owe him money.... full review

So-So, by JOGINDER TUTEJA, Planet Bollywood : ...Yes, Salman does get to enjoy some clap trap dialogues though and rest assured, had the film releases in theatres it would have resulted in audiences – at least at the single screens – enjoy his antics. One can’t be too sure of the multiplex audience though, especially if one considers the climax action sequence involving a chopper that could have done better with well crafted VFX.... full review

So-So, by Ronak Kotecha, Times of India : ...This is definitely not the most wanted Bhai film, but the die-hard Salman fans might just find a reason to cheer him on, yet again.... full review

Thumbs down, by Bobby Sing, Bobby Talks Cinema.com : ...I seriorsly think that should be enough about RADHE, as there are many more indian regional language GEMS waiting to be seen at different OTT portals, regularly asking for our time.... full review

Thumbs down, by SUPARNA SHARMA, Deccan Chronicle : ...Salman Khan could never really act and for a while now he has stopped moving as well. Throughout Radhe, Salman carries a fixed expression, as if he sent his wax statue to the shoot and everyone around had to pretend it was the real thing... full review

Thumbs down, by Deepa Gahlot, Deepa Gahlot : ...Salman Khan’s efforts, cannot save Radhe from its sluggishness, and he really needs to work with better directors. But then, when his audiences do not appreciate it when he does attempt something different (Tubelight, for example), he is forced to fall back on the tried and tested. However, the formula is fraying now, and needs to be ripped and tossed aside like that T-shirt which Salman Khan shreds in every film to flaunt the six-pack abs. Maybe that will also help him to grow from cute boy to distinguished man– a hint of whom one saw in Bharat and the two Tiger films.... full review

Thumbs down, by Rahul Desai, Film Companion : ...Given that Radhe as a film doesn’t offer much to humans who’ve had the misfortune of being born with brains, I found myself instead joining disparate cultural dots to make the most of my experience.... full review

Thumbs down, by Madhuri V, Filmi Beat : ...For someone who has grown up watching masala entertainers, Salman's latest Eid offering Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai tasted bland and left me highly disappointed... full review

Thumbs down, by anna MM Vertticad, FirstPost : ...There is absolutely nothing in this film to recommend it. Nothing. Not even an atom of the novelty that made Wanted and Dabangg attractive to audiences beyond Salman’s hard-core fan base. The actor does a version of his jiggle-the-belt move from Dabangg somewhere along the way in Radhe. He also repeats the line from Wanted that became a rage back in the 2000s: Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di, toh apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta (Roughly: Once I make a commitment, even I can’t persuade myself to turn away from it). But…kisi ki toh sunn lo, Bhai. Listen to someone, please. Radhe is a non-starter. It should never have been made.... full review

Thumbs down, by Shubha Shetty, Free Press Journal : ...This can’t come with the excuse of 'leave your brains at home' as you are paying to watch it at home. Watch it only if you are a Salman Khan fan and have endured a few of his earlier films out of love and loyalty towards the star.... full review

Thumbs down, by Nitin Jain, Glamsham.com : ...None of the four soundtracks composed by Sajid–Wajid, Devi Sri Prasad and Himesh Reshammiya help salvage the movie. The lyrics are penned by Shabbir Ahmed, Sajid Khan and Kunaal Vermaa. D S Prasad recreated his song ‘Seeti Maar’ from the Telugu film DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham (2017). They may be good as music albums though.... full review

Thumbs down, by Umesh Punwani, koimoi : ...All said and done; if this is what sold at the name of entertainers, I’d like to change my order for some boring films, please. This probably should be the last film made around ‘just’ the solo heroics of Salman Khan (cut to 2022… Radhe: Your Most Wanted 3 Bhai).... full review

Thumbs down, by Vaibhavi V Risbood, Pinkvilla : ...By end of the film, I wonder why to review the film but “job hai toh karna toh padega…” After all, we also have made a commitment to the audience to honestly review films.... full review

Thumbs down, by Sukanya Verma, Rediff : ...The damage is entirely on the viewer's brain and sanity. This is our hero’s idea of Swachh Bharat.... full review

Thumbs down, by Nandini Ramnath, Scroll.in : ...The rest is a typical Salman Khan show: cheesy humour, a young and oomph-oozing heroine rubbing herself up against a near-ascetic hero, club songs, gravity-defying fights. More attention has been paid to the proceedings than in Khan’s previous outings Dabanng 3 and Race 3, but that’s not saying much... full review

Thumbs down, by Sonia Chopra, Sify Movies : ...With decades of superstardom, Salman Khan carries with him the capacity to make a shift in the industry. And yet he chooses to make this. It’s disappointing, really.... full review

Thumbs down, by Sangeetha Devi Dundoo, The Hindu : ...Radhe is dreary and listless, with no attempt to do anything innovative within the purview of star-led masala entertainers.... full review

Thumbs down, The Quint : ...Salman Khan does everything - from repeating his most popular dialogue “Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di”, which clearly has lost its novelty, to going shirtless. Radhe is frustratingly tone deaf to how it promotes police brutality and the almost suffocating toxic masculinity that is sprayed on like a cheap deodorant. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is nothing but a cringefest.... full review
