Just a thought - A movie a day keeps the doctor away

I love movies. I almost always find at least one thing to like in a movie and cannot, just cannot leave a movie half-way through, even the crappiest one.

My favourite genre is comedy, I think a good comedy is the most difficult to make. But, slapstick is comedy for the sake of comedy and I have very little tolerance for that kind. Exaggerated expressions, people slapping each other, making faces, etc don’t amuse me.

I enjoy thrillers, mysteries, adventure, action, fantasy, science fiction as long as they are well executed. I like nail-biting and grey-matter-utilizing plots and am thoroughly impressed by innovative special effects, the creativity fascinates me.

If it’s a drama, I have very little patience with melodrama. I don’t mind a slow-paced movie as long as there is a good reason for it to be slow. I cannot handle horror or movies that have too many gross visuals.

Most importantly, I don’t watch pirated copies, because it is unfair. Imagine doing all the hard work and not getting paid for it. Also, if we all watch them, very soon we will have very little to watch.
