Dil Dhadakne Do - Preview
A few laugh out loud moments, a smile through and through. A few real problems looked at superficially. Some #FirstWorldProblem you smile a cynical smile at. Unfortunately, a little shallow, a little too flaky and preachy too.

Except for one “laugh out loud” moment at the end of Dil Dhadakne Do's trailer, it didn't look like an adequate successor to the director, Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Luck By Chance. Even though they belonged to a different social strata from us, there was some amount of connect with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara's chacters, even if in a fairy-tale like way.
There is something about Dil Dhadakne Do characters that makes you look at it as “their” story rather than could be my story. The question then is, will it alienate me or will it pull me into its narrative? Fortunately or unfortunately, I am not that excited about this film as I thought I'd be for the next Zoya Akhtar film.
