quick review:

Yet another of those insipid, loud, occasionally-crass films that go under the garb of masala entertainment.

Ranbir Kapoor in an Action-Romantic-Comedy - hadn't really seen that coming. That too, one that is very *Dabangg-like in its treatment. The trailer proudly introduces the protagonist as - badmaash, awara, robdar, hoshiyar and of course besharam (naughty, tramp, regal, smart/intelligent). And all I could think of while watching it was - letch! The kind that would creep a woman out from the core.

It took a while to register that Ranbir Kapoor is playing such a character. A realisation that came with mixed feelings. Maybe, just maybe there is some larger purpose behind this. Or maybe it's just his attempt at playing an action hero. Oh well.

It will be a pleasure though to watch Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh back together. Even so, I see myself walking into the theater very apprehensively. The songs aren't too inviting either, despite Ranbir Kapoor's energy and charm.
