Review - the blue umbrella...
A simple adorable script narrated with creative use of the camera, color and light. Pankaj Kapoor gives yet another excellent performance. ...
posted 3 years agoLike 'Masoom', ‘The Blue Umbrella’ appears to be a movie featuring the kids but not having kids as its target audience.
I haven’t seen the movie, but from the promo on air and from the fact that the story is by the Kasauli-based Ruskin Bond, I think the setting of the story might be in Himachal Pradesh and not Haryana. Should this movie therefore enthuse the Tourism department of Haryana or Himachal Pradesh?
posted 3 years agoIts a great movie… Pankaj Kapur is simply brilliant.. We do not get to see such fine acting these days.. just downloaded the movie from www.indyaondemand.com.. thanks to such sites, we expats atl east don't miss such good movies..
posted 3 years agoYou are right, Anurag, it is indeed Himachal Pradesh. Slip of the mind - aplogies...and thanks for pointing it out.
Well, I wouldn't compare 'Masoom' with 'the blue umbrella' because in the latter the subject matter could very well be enjoyed by kids too.
