Plot Summary

Bond is after revenge, and encounters a shadowy global organisation which seeks to monopolize natural resources and sell them for a profit. (Shades of Naomi Klein’s latest book, The Shock Doctrine, which is fact, not fiction)

What Worked

• Craig’s portrayal of Bond, as a fellow human being. The scene at the end where he holds Olga as she cowers in the face of fire
• Dame Judi Dench in the scene where she applies and removes cold cream on her face as she received updates about Bond, very human, very real.
