Pyaar Impossible

quick review: No seriously, is more mush possible? Actually, even if it is, I don't want to know. This was enough for a long, long time. Though they had enough maturity to touch upon some very valid issues revolving around love, it's a shame that it translates into a highly typical screenplay with the lousiest dialogues there could be!

Harpreet Singh:

I haven't seen the movie but I wonder why a great soundtrack has got a 1.5 rating only ? I'm sure this was either a typo or you just haven't heard the music that well :). Baby but pyaaar, pyaar impossible. Such a nice line. Better than 3 idiots soundtrack any day. Who remembers all is well or zoobie doobie ? Or who listens to their soundtrack in a car ?

Shad :

i would watch this movie for priyanka she is looking so nice

vinay:

idle brain.com jeevi says:First half of the movie is uninteresting and boing. The director doesn’t get audiences interested in his story telling. Movie gets better towards the climax. Pyaar Impossible takes the Hollywood route in terms of storytelling where hero joins as nanny to heroine’s daughter to impress heroine to fall in love with him. It is more like a chick flick. On a whole, Pyaar Impossible is a disappointment.

meetu:

@Harpreet The title song was too repetitive for my taste. I certainly enjoyed 3 Idiots soundtrack better, it was pretty different.

Jasleen:

It's a crap movie. Period.

mahendran:

Good to see priyanka chopra right now she is acting more of heroine oriented movie.

muthu:

Bingo on the voiceover part! those first 5 mins of VO were enough to put people off the film!
Uday is highly, I repeat, H.I.G.H.L.Y. irritating in the film... and Priyanka, well, why did she have to do THIS film after, Fashion and Kaminey?
and that li'l girl.. sorry to say, but she isn't a regular 6 year old.. not even by Singaporean (or wherever the film is located.. dnt remember right now!)standards! she is giving a tough competition to Uday Chopra.. in being IRRITATING! why can't people let kids be???????? why do they have to play CUPID to a loser geek??
Pyar Impossible is really IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Geetanjali:

guys i reaallluy feel why i wasted my time and money on this crap, the kid in the movie is cute but got a very irritating character... i hated it..

TimELiebe:

Generic-but-cute "beauty&geek;+brat" romcom. Aston Kutcher & Katherine Heigl star in US remake?

TimELiebe:

Sorry my last post didn't have a comment added to it - and again, my comments come from a Western fan of Bollywood movies, so Your Mileage May Vary.

First half of the movie was really generic - as my "quick review" states, cut the songs and an hour off the run time, and it's ready for a Hollywood remake starring Aston Kutcher, Katherine Heigl and some Disney Channel prepackaged "star" to be named later. (The daughter is particularly obnoxious and her motivations barely touched on - unusually so, given how many well-characterized child roles I've seen in Hindi movies!) After The Intermission the movie picks up a bit, when Priyanka starts to see Uday (since they share a last name, I'm using their first names instead) as a person rather than a solution, and we see that they have a nice teasing chemistry. I enjoyed the scene where he "geeks her up" - even if even his worst means she's still a stunningly beautiful woman...in glasses and an oversized sweatshirt, that any guy with eyes would happily flirt with.

Dino Morea makes a suitably slimy corporate villain (if a bit too obvious - how can't Priyanka's once-burned single Mom see right through him?), Anupam Kher once again plays The Most Tolerant Father in Central Asia, and while the computer technology in this film is ridiculous it's no more so than in just about any Western movie. [comment edited because it gives the movie away.]

meetu:

Thanks @TimELiebe for a lovely review :D

TimELiebe:

Sorry about Too Much Information, everybody - I'll try harder not to blow the ending in the futre.

meetu:

@TimELiebe :) thanks!
