Plot Summary

Boy (Shahid Kapoor) meets Girl (Vidya Balan). Girl is lucky for boy's career. Boy wants to keep girl. So he lies. Girl finds out...yada, yada, yada.

  • Okay, I'm convinced, more than half of Canada is inhabited by Indians.
  • Where on earth do these people find such terrible looking office secretaries for the characters who have even worse dialogue delivery?
  • The architects are so broke that they do the carpentry themselves!
  • The recording quality or voice used for Vidya Balan in songs.
  • Hiten Patel, he really got irritating when all he had to yell was, "we're getting late for the meeting, and this is such an important meeting" every 20 minutes or so.
  • I register my protest against women putting on full make-up before they leave for mourning their lost love.
  • The unwieldy lecture on corporate responsibility!!
  • Over the shoulder shots between Hiten Patel and Vidya Balan. Looked way too amateurish.
  • Are Indians living in Canada really concerned with the ups and downs of the SENSEX?
  • Why is a corporate meeting happening in the city council hall?

Nitty-Gritty

This section lists things that I think are not important to the overall impact of the movie. In most cases, it could be explained away by something like, "we noticed the glitch after the scene was shot and there were schedule/budget issues and thus we could not re-shoot it". I like giving the makers the benefit of doubt, but I am amused nevertheless. Hopefully, they will tickle you too.

  • Who's this about 25 year old Mr. Sharma who's head of IBM?
  • Vidya Balan in the red dress being shot with a bottom-up angle in the title song and her side profile shots exposed her i-need-work triceps.

Shalid is okey...he is trying to copy shahrukh khan...and has been successful to great extent.
but he is not as impressive as jab we met

vidya is vveeryyyy boaring. her looks, her cloths, her makup,,,everything is soo simple as if u are looking at ur neighbour lady in late thirties....she is extremely talented but needs to loose lot of weight and work upon her looks.

for me, kismat konnection is a simple n easy-going movie which meant only for entertaining not for winning an award. its for people who wants to cheer up their mind after a packed,stressful day.

i think all aziz uncle's movies are like that. you cant compare this movie with jabwemet but compare it with yes boss etc.

i think this reviewer's rates r too cruel. its not that bad really!

n about the toys. oh please. thats nothing weird with it. i found it cute n sweet. they maybe just got back from funfair. even me n my friends always get jealous when boyfriends win their girlfriends a toy/teddy here.

i dont understand about people saying shahid copying srk.i used to like srk only. no one else ever attract me until i know shahid from his jwm.to say about acting, other actors are good like aamir, akshay etc but for me what makes people attached to one person is another reason. for srk, i fall for his charm n his acting always has the heart.while shahid, he has his own charm. he's too cute n too hot to resist yaar. he can act n he can dance realy2 good.i like these 2 people in different way.

okay, people can say shahid copy srk what so ever. nothing u can do with people perception..

but for shahid's fans. this movie is a must watch! you'll love shahid even more!

Predictable..I so agree

Kismet connection was a really horrible movie(why it did any business whatsoever is beyond me). And I agree that the Balan gurl looks really uncomfortable in western attire. Her looks and body language is suited best for Indian clothes. I wish she woud realize that. The movie had nothing to salvage it..a total disaster
