Dil to Bacha Hai Ji - External Reviews

wogma rating: Watch if you have nothing better to do (?)
quick review:

Mediocre lines are converted to lame by some awful timing and some rock-solid misdirection. Save a couple of interesting characters performed well, there's nothing at all watchable in this 150-minute ordeal.

Thumbs down by Baradwaj Rangan, Blogical Conclusion, The New Sunday Express ...Are we to be relieved that Bhandarkar is no longer fulminating and finger-wagging from his celluloid pulpit? Or should we worry that he’s even worse with the rhythms of comedy than he is with drama?... full review

Thumbs up by Subhash K Jha, Now Running.com ...Besides the powerful writing (Sanjay Chel's dialogues are tongue-in-cheek and sometimes killing in their effectual demolition of the sacred cows of urban conduct) and razor-sharp characterization (barring the caricatural people in Devgn's office), the film gets high marks for dead-on casting.... full review
