Ms. Meetu, you cannot just take out bits and pieces of what i wrote and understand and remember what suits your argument. I liked the movie, and according to me the movie was very nicely portrayed. The acting was great, the direction was daring, the theme could not have been better, the manner in which the movie was addressed was beautiful. The ending was off topic, that is the only place where I could notice a great flaw which actually disrupted the meaning put forward by the movie. On the whole it showed a gradual and smooth unfolding of the story, which was systematic! And while not losing this touch they brought forward to the Indian society the necessity to see that people do not change with diseases, whether it is Aids, schizophrenia, syphilis, or even tuberculosis. What people need when they have these diseases is unconditional love and support...the word 'unconditional' is the key word and the main aim of the movie. My entire point of writing this is not to discuss the movie or show if I like it or not. It is everyone's individual opinion to think what they want to and to extract their own opinions and reflect. I have no right to criticize the movie just to take with me what I have learned and use it in life. My aim of writing a response to you was to show that most of what you wrote was unjustified, and the reason that I am writing this is because I believe that you have the knowledge and the flair to increase the potential of this blog by many fold. Best of luck, regards...
This is my personal opinion, I agree with you at some parts that this movie was a little wishy washy. But you have to agree, looking at the current situation of most of the Indian people this movie was relevant. Judging whether or not the movie was good or not is a later situation, for me the movie was bearable. You can watch it, can feel what they feel. And you are right, Kajol is a great actress and she did do her part well. But the meaning behind this movie is not to only flaunt skills, but also to show to people what 'unconditional love' truly is and that everyone should be treated equally. I believe that you haven't met anyone who is impaired, I have been to an orphanage full of children that were effected with Agent Orange. They were DISOWNED! Disowning them doesn't help, a simple surgery can help them. But Alzheimer's is a different case, nonetheless it reaches out to everyone. Don't give up, that is the message. Forget about the flaws of the movie's title, I do believe that it is the first movie that Ajay and Kajol have produced, directed and acted on by themselves. Without reading the reviews I had watched the movie, and I thought that it was a breakthrou in Indian Cinema. We NEED more movies like this, more education movies that will help us to keep in beat with the rest of the world instead of ignoring such problems with comments that have no sense.
Hi. This so called 'review' of yours is just a vain attempt at being funny. It would have been amusing IF the statements written above were in the slightest way justified, but I'm really sorry to say (and since I have the write to express myself freely) you ended up seeming stupid. No offense.

I am really sorry, just re-read what I wrote, there are some lapses because I was worried about the space restraint.
