Plot Summary

Mukta Burve has made a day trip to Pune from her home town Mumbai to "see" a boy for a marriage alliance, the arranged marriage way. Walk along the town with her to see how she spent the day.

What Worked

  • The way an awkward moment between a guy and a girl is dealt with.

  • The suddenness of the first intimate question. Looked mighty out of place.
  • Lousy background music.
  • The Sinhgad scene was a bit too long and dragged.
  • Mukta Burve's makeup.
  • The "palat" moment.
  • A relatively empty Pune railway station platform at 6pm for a train leaving for Mumbai. I think, I actually saw a guy run out of the camera frame, to keep the field clear. :)

We saw this movie during the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised to see this well balanced review (of a Marathi film).
I feel that it is the superb acting of Mukta Barve which is the highlight of this movie, apart from the sheer simplicity of the plot and story.

I can't believe the reviews of this movie. i have seen this movie and it is a superbly crafted movie, not artsy type. I loved how the movie paced and the theme. Only Marathi people can actually grasp the concept of the Mumbaikar-Punekar sweet warfare...A must see movie.

I found this one as a superb,sweet romantic movie...just nearly perfect..superb acting by both the actors, beautiful songs-nice picturisation,excellent background music score,still the film is not without loopeholes,but they are negligible,
Mukta Barve particularly very outstanding in portraying practical yet confusing Mumbai girl, swapnil as usual is perfect in dilogue delivery,
watchout for cute mukta, unique concept and crispy dilogues...enjoy the journey!

I would say... reviewer has done a bit injustice while writing the review...or he/she did not understand the concept or Dialogues ..... I believe Swapnil Joshi has dominated the movie with his fluent and flawless acting... so has Mukta Barve....Songs are awesome... reviewer has given 1 rating for direction..where as I would say ..this movie deservs atleast 4. Main thing that catches our attention is its simplicity in presenting the complex topic.... All in all ..a must watch for all Marathi movie fans...

Three times I have seen this movie and every time i have enjoyed. It's toooo good. I like both Swapnil & Mukta there acting is superb. About Mukta i personally feel that she can do any kind of films and she will be perfect in any kind of role. And about Swapnil he is mind blowing.

a wonderful movie... totally different way of handling an otherwise very common plot. Was pleased to see such a different movie in Marathi after a long time.
the director and writer have done a great job by filling this simple plot with humor. Both actors have done a very good job in keeping the characters realistic (scratch the ugly video and choreography, music is good though),
All in all ...Loved the movie!
