Thumbs up by Subhash K Jha, Apun Ka Choice ...A portrait in contrasts, physically, intellectually and morally, Shubendu and Gagan are played with such innate conviction and charm by the two actors that we barely notice how much these characters owe to the Hollywood tradition of contrasting men sharing roof and lives in a hostile city where desolation is not an option, it's a given... full review

So-So by Taran Adarsh, Bollywood Hungama ...The slice of life film may or may not strike a chord, but you cannot refute the fact that it's made with the precise objective of narrating an attention-grabbing account.... full review

Thumbs down by Rachana Parekh, Bollywood Life ...a few enjoyable performances and some funny scenes that make it easy to suffer... full review

Thumbs down by Kanika Sikka, DNA ...The story is simple and has nothing new to offer. Whether itโ€™s the struggle of an artist or the superficial relationships in the glamour industry, all of it is seen before. ... full review

Thumbs down by Ritu V Singh, IBN Live ...not senseless, but repetitive ... full review

Thumbs down by Vinayak Chakravorty, india today ...A scene-stealer here is also Ranvir Shorey, as Shubhendu's roommate, struggling actor Gagandeep. The guy is quite the sly fox, master at cooking up stories, and Shubhendu's guide in his tryst with lying.... full review

So-So by Shubhra Gupta, indian express ...There are some good, sincere moments in the film. But I expected something fresher from Saurabh Shukla, who is also the writer.... full review

So-So by Mansha Rastogi, Now Running.com ...Filmmaker Saurabh Shukla plays with the idea of human wants very well as he shows two strugglers taking to all means to attain their desires, for one of being a young and successful writer and for the other of being an actor. ... full review

Thumbs down by Preeti Arora, Rediff ...Shukla doesn't just condemn the industry for its shallowness, there's also a lesson for young women that a man who's forty-plus (pun intended) and balding needn't be discarded because he may have a heart of pure gold. ... full review

Thumbs down by Bhawana Somaiyya, Star Blockbuster ...For those exposed to the best of Saurabh-Rajat combo this one lacks the magic... full review

Thumbs down by Mayank Shekhar, theW14.com ...You fiddle with your thumb and watch the actors, all gung-ho, before you: Neha Dhupia, Ranvir Sheorey, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla... They are a small-budget movie genre of their own. Iโ€™ve lost count of the number of films Iโ€™ve seen them together in. Clearly itโ€™s a great way for friends to hang out, have a good time... If only the same could be said of their bored audience in this flick. ... full review

So-So by Madhureeta Mukherjee, Times of India ...With a bit of truth, a bit of lies, part spoof, part-real, Saurabh Shukla spins this romcom with witty one-liners, few hilarious scenes, good comic timing, a lot energy (sometimes excessive)... full review
