Review - Heyy Babyy...
Absolutely run-of-the-mill slapstick is in-charge of the first half of the movie. Interestingly though, the second half is taken over mostly by my kind of good subtle humor. And that's what makes this one worth a DVD rental. ...

Hi jeebon, as unimaginative as it may sound, time is my genuine problem - I am a part-time reviewer (note, not a critic). I can watch and review only one movie on a Friday. I generally choose to watch the more popular one - the movie most of the readers are likely to want to read about. I try to watch the second release on Monday, but that is not necessarily always possible. Unfortunately that means some movies get left out.
Another random thought - maybe there should be 48 hours in a Friday!
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to give me feedback.
A few years down the line, 'Heyy Babyy' would become a Quiz-Master's delight: He would ask, " Which was the first movie featuring Shah Rukh Khan and his Bollywood successor Ritiesh Deshmukh?”
The answer of course, is Heyy Babyy.
But why would Ritiesh Deshmukh be the Bollywood successor of Shah Rukh Khan?
Because like Shah Rukh, he possesses an ever-swelling tally of film awards for performing roles which did not even merit a nomination!
oh!its just a out standing film i have ever seen .So much comedy and so much laugh.................................................
Heyy Babyy is just a rocking film full of comedy. Its an interesting movie and the little Angel is simply cute and adorable. An out standing film!
I continue to wonder why so many people seem to have liked Hey Babby and not me!
Kicks off with an item song with several bollywood women with paddings(Amrita Arora being the worst) and thats supposed to create some excitement. Comedy - except a few scenes here and there, what is so comical about the movie. So you are supposed to laugh when Akshay Kumar shows the size of the baby by pointing towards a voluptous woman's breasts. Because AK has now gotten himself, you are supposed to laugh at some of his unconvincing histrionics as well. And whenever Sajid Khan thought 'this bit probably won't make anyone laugh', he asks the cameraman to focus on the baby - because there are atleast few million people in the country who can laugh because the baby is. Sorry but the logic is clearly missing. Who exactly would walk into a wedding and ask the bride if she got pregnant the last time they were together??? Why would Australian girls(the 3 girls who were in our protgonists' beds) talk in an American accent or like Eastern European girls with an American Accent.
Agreed that 3 men, only 1 being the actual father develops affection towards a little baby. But how many men are foolish enough to say with tears 'Arush you said you'll get the baby back home' despite the fact that Arush in an earlier scene quite seriously says that he loves the woman and for the simple reason that the baby is with her natural mother and the natural father is alive. Ridiculous.
Enough Said!!
Nirmal
its abad movie
Hey Babby is an Ok movie......title song seems to be good and the Baby Angel was very sweet...
im truely speechless
HEYY BABYY is a full time pass movie made by TV comedian Sajid Khan.Akshay deserves the role in the film since he has a son of his own in real life.Riteish is quite funny but nicely performs the emotional part also.Fardeen is quite funny.Vidya is good but it is sad that she enters in the film just few minutes before the interval.Boman is too good.Anupam is funny even if he has a guest appearance.SRK does the dance very well. The music is rocking especially 'Mast Kalandar' and 'Heyy Babyy'title song.
*** Comment edited because this part of the comment is just the story of the movie ***
