quick review:
A match-winner only if the runs didn't dry up in bits and parts. The climax however, is tied up pretty well and that's what sets it apart from other comedy films. The wit and silliness keep the flow of chuckles running through.
This page has additional observations, other than the ones noted in the main review.
Plot Summary
In 1999, when mobile phones and match-fixing in cricket were the talk of the town, two high-nosed but small-game crooks Sachin (Kunal Khemu) met Rahul (Boman Irani). Alongside was Zaramud (Cyrus Broacha) making a fool of himself. They all get in a big soup together. See how they wade their way through.
What Worked
- The stereotyping of the kind of things that bother Non-Delhi-ites about Delhi. Very funny.

Wow! What a movie! This was just something else, havent laughed so hard in a movie ever. The 150 minutes I spent watching this was the best time I have ever had in a movie theatre. I guess meetu you again didnt get the numerous delhi references otherwise it isnt anything short of a 7/7 wogma rating.
I'm glad you liked it...I found myself smiling through the film and I thought I got the Delhi stereotypes. I'm sure I must have missed some of them. But, isn't this a great move ahead for comedy in Hindi?
"national award jeetke aana".... hahahaha... broacha must have added that of his own.... n he never cracked toilet-sexual jokes on TV too.... if amit mistry was brilliant in "ek chaalis...." he is a knockout here....
The film is boring..Kunal Khemu is weak in his character..I think he needs to mature a lot!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one!! The cell phone jokes, Mahesh manjrekar's straight faced humour, the Dilli Vs Mumbai.. all of it.
