AWESOME movie,,,one of the best works in indian cinema,,,,BEATS EVEN "HAASIL "(having similar content),,,deepak dobriyal, piyush mishra , kay kay..... terriffic,,,just terriffic a movie that will blow u ,,out thre!!!!! ANURAG AND HIS CREW ...SHOULD BE GIVEN NATIONAL AWARD!!!!!! i clapped for 10 minutes after it was over!...going to watch it tomorrow again,,
A movie with senseless story,stupid unrealistic characters,a music- very loud(though really hollow),direction-- a torturous one,,,ohh comon guys!!! u cant recommend a movie only because it has a 'big' star in his lead,shouting and screaming both in real and on reel, that his" ghajini" is best! a lot has been talked about short memory loss of the character, but i forgot that it was the baseline of the story after sometime..it was so under played. aamir khan has chosen shrewd concept of showing handicapped girls,blind man,innocent girls exploited.........all this for the sake of explaining,,," How kind is the gal in the film.hmm" Shame on aamir !to "play" with the sentiments of such unprivileged people,just to create a sympathy for the heroine .(before she is being hammered) its very easy to use a "disabled" person get applause for being so "innovative" in mesmerising audience. GUYS PLEASE USE YOUR HEAD BEFORE SAYING WHAT YOU ARE SEEING (ON SCREEN) IS GOOD OR BAD!!! my appeal to all readers here! aamir was too loud and unrealistic , asin was too stupid and too sugary,,( half an hour more and i wud hav died of diabetes), the villain was ok. a hero , a heroine, a villain , few songs, wow! what a new idea ,now add 'mirch masala',, ..copy a concept of short term memory from a hollywood classic and "ghajini" is ready...WOW! U SEE I AM PERFECTIONIST the film has been titled "ghajini" ,..and who is he,.. he is GUNDA ( directly taken from sunil shetty,s macho films of early 90,s)wonderful great characterisation!!! what jiah khan is doin in the movie,,,she herself dont know,... a tortorous movie to end the year,,showing what is the standard of our movies.. BELOW AVERAGE....Never attempt bollywood ,to "kill " someone's genuine creation for money , money and money. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT

to b the last movie of Abhishekh Bachhan,
Hav u ever imagined of a superhero...who has stinky beard all over(to hide his "good looking???"face...everybody has seen in "Tera Jadoo Chal gaya"), and to that a tummy hidden by long [i]paushak[/i] ...and talking about fighting with swords in this world of sci-fi gadegts...what rubbish abhishek???
we know u r not at all a good actor...(though many in industry are making money inspite of the fact that they dont know the "A" of acting.)..but atleast they have some looks to boost about and "FOOL" the naive audience...not the case with u abhishekh bhai...
yesterday i met a panipuri wala ..u all will b "surprised"...he was better looking than abhishekh..i asked him,,why u dont try in film indutrty ..u can b a "Drona" too.
ohh then i remembered... his dad is not Big B yar...hahahaha
Now coming to the [i]actress[/i]...priyanka ..wat were u wearing in the movie.and those horrifying eyelashes,,,u made me "scared "yar.. i cud not sleep whole nite thinking of u..
Now to the [i]director[/i]...i wont say anything about him..he made me "Speechless"..i wud just like to remind u all his achievements in life..
1) achievement no..1 ..born in a family with film backgound(his father was a movie maker)
2) no.2..made a masterpiece.."Bus itna sa khwaab hai" ( see.. i still remember the name :D)
3)married to Sonali Bendre( ok ...we can consider it achievement..considerin the mismatch)
4) childhood friend of abhishekh..
5) n hence, got a chance to "direct" the "grestest " movie of the all time.."D D D D...Drona"

u all must hav seen "Dark Knight" recently..compare it with Drona,,,u wil all get my point.
Our film industry is turning out to b an industry were the resources are in the "wrong" hands..
Smaller countries like Iran..Thailand..make much better n sensible in far limited resources..i am not mentioning Hollywood('cause they are not far behind Bollywood in making Disasters in the name of Movie)
ha...one more point...why was it called Drona...they could have also named it as "Goldie" , "Ashok","Mangilal"...any nice name u can think of ......
Now...Meetu ..u said that this movie is made thinking of kids....i ask u to watch "FANCHAN" ( a thai movie)..if u hav time after seeing Drona..and all

i agree this movie is not entertaining ,,its documentary style..but it was stunningly approached,,.the character of badshah was brilliant,,,kudos to Aditya shrivastav,,,
i would say but,,this kind of movies are the need of today( may not b demand)..we need to look on issue like terrorism in a nonjudgmental way..the movie depicted so,,beautifully
the strongest point of the movie is.. that the director is clear in his thoughts..he wants to make .." real " cinema,,not "entertaining "masala..
Regarding ur arguement on some points missing about the incidence,,,i would say, its not necessary to spoon feed the audience everytime..
Our cinema has reached "nowhere"..because people of this nation wants entertainment not enlightment( a line copied from movie sarkar raj)...
an attempt like this should be appreciated with " big " HEART...
and one should also not forget ...this movie was made ... many years back and was hanging for censorship...imagine what effect it would hav wen it would hav been released in its "original' time..when not so goood movies( technically , story wise ,acting wise or any wise/) were made.
i would also say a word about Indian ocean ( who gave the music ),,,they rock yar,,,where they were these many years ..wondering.....
gud review meetu...i totally agree with u..it is just a hyped movie...but i would like to add something...its tooo boring yar.....i slept throughout the movie ..so dont know what was it all about...so came to see this blog..to know wat i missed (luckily) despite of being in the talkies...hahaha...a gr8 escape for me...the problem with Ashutosh is he thinks himself to be talented,,,..i wud agree ...he is talented in making audience sleep....and wasting resources..in a "beautiful" way..
anyone with sleep disorder?..movie is highly recommended to them...
a torture all the way.......Ramu should b sentenced imprisonment for making such movies...dont know hw many people (among the audience) might had been mentally tortured during this 2 and half hours

gr8 review meetu...for a wonderful movie...the movie was so indulging ,,even after seeing it 1 year hav passed ..but i cud not resist writing about it today...abhay deol, raima sen,the 2 showed wat is natural acting...direction was just perfect..story..thinking how one can think so....and music was also nice..regarding the strongest point of the movie now..it,s cinematography...i think this movie is exceptionally shot...4/5 ..(my rating)....keep up gud work meetu

it is first time i am writing my opinion about a movie in this blog..anyway......
A Wednesday is just an engaging thriller i will say...not at all a masterpiece,,,its a one time show.,,
the postives of the film is its theme that too wen the suspense at the end comes out,,else the theme was just average bfore that,,,just like any thriller serial running on tvs..
talking about actors..naseer was really briliant .(as usual)...nd anupam kher suited d role..jimmy shergil was a discovery i wud say( although industry has discovered him 5 yrs back)..but he really rocks in the movie...he looks confident first on the screen( may b he was borne on wednesday,, so lucky for him)
rest all other co-actors were ok..
reagarding flaws...greatest flaw that i wud point immidiately,,is the background score...y to keep it so loud...just unnecessary...it reminded me of RGV,s AAG..i accept ..its thriler but does we need to remind again nd again thst we r watching thriller..
anoder prob is that director is highly inspired of masala movies.,.,u cant get with some characters ,.,,they r so artificial..like aamir bashir,s wife wid d child...somehow d scene between them didnt touch,,,so predictable...the seen wen aamir,s wife leaves the railway station with the child ... was just too filmy
another flaw..that young hacker..no need to add that character ..it was waste of reels..and to that he attends the call of his "Babes" in front of SP.and the SP moves aside in embarassment...this is a poor shot...can u think a SP to react such to a young ,,,at a time wen many lifes are in danger,,,that was a stupid short
another prob wre the 4 terrorists they showed...no need to describe the stories of thier brutality..( one terrorist told that in childhood he killed bla bla in revenge) ...we can understand terrorist r brutal ..no need to explain,,,...
naseeruddin shah was the soul of the film.i think he made the film wat it looks like....the climax of the movie was gud..wen anupam kher shakes hands to him...the dialogue at the end that naseer gave about terorrism ..saved the movie.
over all its a an average thriller with a good message at the end...
