Comments

  • M. S. Dhoni - The Untold Story:

The movie is about the cricketing great and the people who supported him to be what he is through success and failure.

  • Banjo:

That sets the movie apart from any other. We know we may not see foreign locales, white sarees and tulips or sunflowers or even mustard fields. We will see the actual hard work that an average Indian puts in to survive.

  • Mohenjo Daro:

Mohenjo Daro is Hrithik Roshan's second collaboration with his Jodhaa Akbar director Ashutosh Gowariker. The outing is grand and the bygone era of burnt brick buildings and close knit community has to be seen and appreciated.

  • The Jungle Book:

To all the directors out there. Learn from Jon Favreau. If there’s a way to take timeless classics and make stunning movies out of them without being bland and boring then this is it.

  • Ki & Ka:

Ever heard the concept of house husbands? Ki and Ka is about that. It tells the story of a man willing to stay home, do domestic chores, take care of parents and children etc. So far it seems to be a progressive story of sorts and in a way shows the changing times in our society.

  • Kapoor & Sons:

Director Shakun Bhatra’s Kapoor & Sons is a story about two brothers who returns to their home in the picturesque hills of Coonoor in Tamil Nadu to see their ailing grandfather. This is a family drama that every filmmaker in India should take cues from. The film does without the flow of glycerin and melodrama that one can easily associate with such films made in India, but touches your heart at the same time.

  • Jai Gangaajal:

First thing first. Jai Gangaajal is NOT a sequel to the 2003 Ajay Devgan starrer Gangajal. But the overall theme of the movie is somewhat similar. The main character in this film is also a police officer just like the earlier one. But this time it’s the turn of a lady cop played by none other than Priyanka Chopra.

  • Aligarh:

Homosexuality is an issue not often discussed in India. But of late it has been in media quite a lot especially since 2010 when the Delhi High Court read down the controversial section 377 of the Indian Penal Code which seeks to criminalize same sex acts and then in 2013 when the same was overturned by the Supreme Court of India.

  • Ghayal Once Again:

From cricket starts to politicians, everyone has praised this film. Whether it was Sachin Tendulker, Amir Khan or Arvind Kejriwal (well he likes every film he watches. So…….) – they all agree that Neerja is a film that one should not miss. But let’s not get carried away so soon. Let’s have an in-depth look at the movie Neerja and find out what it’s all about and whether it is really worth spending your hard earned money on the movie or not.
