Technically PHOONK is brilliant (especially camerawork) although music was a bit noisy at times but overall it was spooky. I too feel that suspense element was needed. RGV has effectively used 'silence' in this film which gives the audience an eerie feeling.(This should be experienced in a 70 mm screen.) & also the background score & the premise in the CLIMAX (although predictable) induces the audience to stay glued into their seats. I wonder why many critics like Meetu forgot to mention these aspects. Finally, to sum up, we should accept that RGV is one of the finest filmmakers India has ever produced & 'PHOONK' will be one of his highly successful (creatively / commercially) films till date.
