    Somwhow it work just OK for me; yes I watched in the theater and all that (for Madhri anyway) but guess my performance expectations were too high overall.

    The Story is still good and a few characters really etched quite well; good pace and grip; Akshay Khanna disappoints though.

    The climax setup got TOO grand to be believeable; through the rest of movie was quite.. but as Meetu says; that's Yashraj.. right!

    Still with all that; I was disapponted with the Box-Office reaction; I think it deserved better.

    And yes I agree with the "embarassing" situations; also there is a scene with Dad and Daughter where it appears more like a lover relationship in the way it is shot... Har-har!!

    The shooting scene towards the climax is quite predictable..

    AND Ms Minissha; does not appear sensual in the movie at all.....

    Overall a let down; Imran does well in pieces; Minissha is a complete misfit in the role and so is Ms Malavade.

    Editing and Cinematography are both poor; except the opening cedits (though INSPIRED are OK).

    Chase scene at the end is good with Imran (Sanju baba's double is horrible here though).

    Biggest let down here was actually Sanjay Dutt; I do not recall a poorer performance from him in recent times.

    My sugegstion: Watch it only if it is aired on your favorite cable cinema channel :-(

  • Welcome to Sajjanpur:

    Hi Meetu, Sprry could not update sooner; though I have taken some notes on the day.

    PS: Ramkumar - if the review was to write the complete story; then what is the use of seeing ANY movie;

    Anyways, coming back to my views on the movie; slick direction; editing could have been better on some counts (especially Mahadev's interaction with a couple of characters; I feel the end was also suddenly rushed; compared to the comfortable pace of the rest of the movie.

    Rajeshwari just does not fit the bill (and infact neither does Ila Arun); It may have been better to swap Rajeshwari and Divya's roles.

    I quite liked the clever use of songs in the film (except maybe the initial one - Sitaram); and the deliberate narration style to keep the interest level.

    Overall quite good as expected. Thanks for this Movie Shyam; and Thanks meetu for the useful insights.
