I find it very obtuse when people talk around the film and not about the film. Well since that is the case here, I will do the same. By the way, is making threats some way of making 'Marathis'' presence felt? Languages: Any person "migrating" to Maharahstra can and does speak in Marathi, it is almost impossible to survive if you can't/don't, especially in Pune. I personally think Mumbai will stop functioning if the so-called outsiders left. I also see why so many people are offended by your review meetu, it is natural in this case that people will misunderstand/miss the point you are trying to make in a language they do not understand. They comment and threaten in a language that is not even our National language. If they think Hindi was forced onto them, why do they even bother reading a review written in English? Migration: @ All fanactics participating in this debate, please explain, how one migrates in one's own country? Isn't that the whole point of living in one national state (although, I doubt how many people here actually understand the definition of the term considering their inability to grasp plain English). Going by the definition of migration given by these fanatics, there will come a day when people will have to migrate from Kothrud to Aundh. Marathi manoos: a) would rather someone else do a dirty job than get their own hands dirty. b) shuns responsibility of any sort. c) is all talk no action. It's a cry for the so-called outsiders to take action to save Maharashtra; Marathis don't want to do the job, it's probably beneath their fake pride. I am a Marathi Maharashtrian and I am completely disappointed by the rude and impudent comments made by people who were born into the Marathi culture as Marathis. Culture, one of the finest things about Marathi manoos, and here they take that away (as well) by making such arrogant, self-important and selfish comments. Meetu, commendable job replying to these comments. You go gal!

  • Stalled Perfectionism:

Why would someone give away (describe in detail) an entire sequence from Ghajini on "WOGMA"? I object. I have nothing to say about the rest of the post, like you say here, to each his own.

I agree with almost everything you've written in the review, except that I did not feel it was lesson for parents and teachers only. It's a BIG lesson to everyone; just accept each other for who and what they are...I am good, so are you!

I am all praises for Aamir Khan. Oh! and Darsheel Safary too, but I guess it takes a good director to create good actor out of a kid, so, the credit goes to Aamir again.

This was one movie that made me cry, like *really* feel and cry. And I mean it in the best sense (I was happy watching the film). The emotions were portrayed SO well!

about the movie, i was going to watch it for madhuri anyways(just like the rest of the bolly-world, the yash-raj formula works for me :D) the fact that it's a movie worth watching in theatres is like extra whipped cream on my choclate sundae :)
