Valu takes you to the interiors of rural Maharastra with its adorable characters and their wit. It is a slow yet charming watch. However, you could get lost in translation if you don't understand the language.

its a fun movie to watch and more so to listen. i do agree that to really enjoy the move one has to understand the varadi dialect of marathi. still its great fun. what is more commendable is that it is produced by people who are from non filmi background that to middle class.

Liked the easy sbaratirisation of the native
who necer acted ib the movie. All of them became the charcter, thr director and screen play writer thought about.
A good Movie for those, who wants to enjoy good cinema

On flight to India - I was unable to help myself watching it three times. That's in itself talks about quality. - Photography, Direction, and Acting are unmatched. For sure it's a winner.
For the folks like myself, who experienced the rural India, I was able to relate each and every scene of the movie.
