quick review: The entire film could be labeled a forgone conclusion. Not one single thing happens that you wouldn't have been able to tell from the trailer, if not from the title of the film. From the family problems, to the relationships, to the outcome of the grand championship. As typical, an underdog film, as it could get.

There goes my weekend... Mausam and speedy singhs dont inspire much confidence :-( MBKD one more show??? (i think i will pass)... Surely all these movies make me look forward to Ra-one!!! (surprise surprise)!!!! Damn!!!

Ha ha it was predictable. But I think you are being too harsh on the movie. Of course it was a big platter of everything cliched. But judging the movie especially after watching a Hindi dub is like having a virgin drink and hating alcohol ! I saw the English version, (yes there are the theaters playing it in Pune too, if you look hard enough) and honestly it managed to keep me interested despite being the same old story line. This is definitely a weekend time pass movie. The kind of switch off your brain cinema we can enjoy sometimes. Not as bad as the current bunch of Salman's movies now was it ?
Tell me you didn't laugh your ass to the piss police joke, oh wait, it was in Hindi, I don't wanna know what that translated out to be, but whatever it was, I'm guessing adds up for the reason you gave it that rating. :D
My verdict - English version is a one time watch.

I quiet liked the film..Nice Warm Feel..While watching it..I watched the dubbed version and I had a very good Time Pass..

@Harpreet :) good point, I'll update the title so it reads (Hindi dub) Usually films are marked as dubbed in () on Bookmyshow. This one wasn't, I assumed this is the version it was meant to be seen in. Oh well...

And no, "piss police" wouldn't have made me laugh even i'd seen it in English. I just don't get toilet humor. By the way, it was translated as "peshaab police"..ugggh...I don't believe I just typed that.
