i completely agree with you when you say, 'The spectacular locations and magnificent cinematography alone warrant a trip to the cinema hall'...Personally, i loved the shots where there is an extreme close-up of the actor with a the beautiful landscapes behind..i think it's a beautifully shot movie (also, the close-ups of the female characters are well shot)
another observation: when u talk about gul panag's dialogue delivery i think it pretty good as it brings out the strong and 'pahadi' nature of the character...well, that's my view..n u might not agree

I think it is worth pointing out that Gul Panag's dialogue delivery was not done by Gul Panag herself! Because of scheduling conflicts, Gul was not available for the dubbing so Nagesh Kukunoor got Elahe Hiptoola (the exec producer of Dor) to do it.
